NAStar Inc. Introduces SynEster Gloss White PET Synthetic Paper

6.24.16 Middleton, WI –SynEster White Synthetic Paper, an eco-friendly, cost-effective alternative to traditional Polyester film possesses heat-resistance, dimensional stability, and strength most similar to polyester, has been introduced by NAStar Inc. Stocked with T1055+ Temporary Adhesive, it is positioned as a more versatile alternative to white polypropylene film and can be purchased in quantities as small as 500 msi.

The thermal transfer printable film is a PET based Synthetic Paper made from recycled PET resin. It is priced the same as thermal transfer polypropylene making it an economic alternative to polyester. 2 mil Gloss White SynEster Synthetic Paper provides excellent ink adhesion and is compatible with flexo, UV Inkjet, and HP Indigo systems.

SynEster film is mated with NAStar Inc.’s proprietary T1055+ Temporary Adhesive and a 50# RMK liner. T1055+ Temporary Adhesive securely sticks to and removes cleanly from most all substrates including plastic, metal, glass, wood, and paper. This more aggressive water-based dispersion adhesive also adheres to challenging surfaces such as Teflon, Textured PVC, and Corrugate; and even cold, damp surfaces while providing clean, long-term removability and repositionability. Additionally, the adhesive has excellent UV resistance and complies with FDA 21CFR 175. 105.
